Whether you are a high school or college student, a military member, or a community activist, we have opportunities tailored for you.
Who Can Volunteer?
- High School Students:
- Looking to fulfill your mandatory volunteer hours as per North Carolina's high school graduation requirements? Join us and make your hours meaningful.
- Volunteering with us can also be an excellent addition to your college applications, showcasing your commitment to community service.
- College Students:
- Cumberland County boasts a rich educational landscape with renowned institutions. Students from any college or university in the area are encouraged to volunteer.
- Many local college programs value and even require community service; partnering with Fayetteville Fury can help meet these requirements while providing valuable experiences.
- Military Members:
- Close to Fort Liberty, we deeply value our relationship with the military community.
- Our volunteer opportunities can contribute towards the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (MOVSM) for those who serve and display exemplary commitment.
- Community Activists:
- Passionate about making a change? Join hands with us as we embark on numerous outreach initiatives, promoting health, education, inclusion, and, of course, the beautiful game of soccer.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Community Outreach & Engagement: Assist our players, staff, and beloved mascot, Furyous, in engaging with our community. This includes visits to schools, hospitals, community centers, and organizing soccer clinics for children.
- Supporting Local Education: Work with local schools to promote our scholarship opportunities, foster a love for the game, and inculcate values of discipline, hard work, and teamwork.
- Military Appreciation Nights: Help organize and run our special events dedicated to the brave souls of our military community.
- Environmental Initiatives: Participate in our green programs, promoting recycling during games, and working towards more energy-efficient practices.
- Health & Wellness: Collaborate with local health organizations in organizing health awareness campaigns, free check-ups, and wellness events.
- Youth Development & Player Advancement: Assist in designing and implementing programs aimed at nurturing young soccer enthusiasts and facilitating the growth of future soccer stars.
